3D model of the ship 'Thousand Sunny' from the Japanese manga series 'One Piece'. It is done in 3DS Max and then imported into Unity, where all the stills and videos are taken directly from. Textures are done in Photoshop. 

I did this project over a couple of months in my free time in order to practice 3D modeling. The concept is from one of my favourite TV Series 'One Piece' which is a big passion of mine. 

The amount of details that went into the design of this ship is phenomenal, as you can see from some of the reference images at the bottom of the page. It was a huge pleasure to work on it and I plan on improving it later on by making a Hi-Res version in ZBrush with added details and modeling the interior of the ship.
